Butterfly Metamorphosis

The children in first and second class watched caterpillars change into chrysalides and then emerge as beautiful Painted Lady Butterflies. We raised and cared for our very own butterflies and then released them into the wild! The entire transformation from caterpillar to butterfly took 5 weeks.
