Just make a MARK and see where it takes you.....
We read The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds. It is the story of a young girl named Vashti who dislikes art class because she is convinced, she can't draw. Her teacher encourages her to begin with a single dot and her creativity takes off. The story celebrates that we are all creative. We each began our art lesson with a black dot and a blank piece of paper and look where our imaginations took us! See some pictures of our regular "art gallery" walkabouts where we turn the classroom into a mini art gallery and admire our classmates most recent creations.
